it's one thing to have a fish just up and get off the hook when you are doing everything in you can to land him. totally different when you do something that allows him to get off the hook. big boy was working me so I paused for one second to buckle down and land him an boom! he was gone!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

ya, you would have to live fully self sufficient in alaska to make it work on retirement i would think, unless you already got the house

and one day I'm going to learn to set a hook... snatch a couple out one day and now I'm not setting them as hard. can't seem to win...
but can't wait to get back out. seems I really enjoy sucking at fishing...
