Problem with land nowadays is you are just leasing it from the government. Grrrr its a sore spot for me.

I looked into being a prison guard. The pay here sucks. But thats how it is across the board in AR. I have 13 years experience in my trade and cant find a single company to pay me 20 an hour. I made almost double that in CA. Only thing cheaper here is the land. Food and all that is the same, cost of living my butt.

Its a poop job but I get to retire at 50 and my 7 years military add onto my retirement.

No worries, it has been a hard adjustment for me as well. But it keeps it more friendly in a lot of ways

I have worked in a few prisons doing repair, remodel work. I dont know how you guys deal with it. I know you have to be able to switch it off when you get home.
So whats your edc weapons?
