I have been meaning to pick up an anorexic b4. The 1311 might make me forget about the b10 though. It would for me if only it was made of INFI... I understand Dan demands a price to performance ratio, but some of us demand performance first, price second...

Anorexic is .155 and Magnum is .220 Thanks for the info. I didn't know it was called magnum. So I guess I want the war dog then it's the thickest of the bunch Yes sir, of all three I prefer the Magnum B4LE... Strong enough to pry, yet sharp enough to slice... Although, the War Dog does cut pretty well for how beefy the edge is.. Yea, I'm still not totally sold on the wardog over the b4 magnum, I like the broader blade look

SW, the B4LE Magnum is a much better cutter/slicer than the War Dog because the blade is wider in conjunction w/ the thinner stock...

I understand Dan demands a price to performance ratio, but some of us demand performance first, price second... Carrying carbon steel slipjoints daily in the humid south, I have learned to take care of carbon. The edge retention is better then Infi and it has the same warranty. Doesnt get any better for me. A B13 or bigger would be great but way more expensive. I am starting to prefer the res-c for chopping though. Infi is great but I dont need it on everything.

Is that a knife that is made or gonna be made or a dream? Just brainstorming, I think it needs to be made by Jerry though.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I guess if all you are doing is slashing palmettos, SR-101 should be up to the task...

The problem with thin infi is it can wave/warp on the edge easier then Sr101. Everything has a trade off.
