I've been tempted, but I think the 311 makes a lot more sense....

$70 vs $250 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" />

Yes it should, adding more cost. Heck I was hoping the 1311 was convexed. I would love to see this b15 be 1/4 stock but have a fuller like the tglb for 2/3 of the blade. Save a ton of weight leaving it weighted at the head and keeping the strength, then convex that bad boy.

I think anything under 4" and 3/16" thick, might as well just be SR-101...

I have been liking the shape of the AD. I just hate the little choil. It turns me off of so many designs. I am really considering a sus scrofa.

Sus scrofa would make a great little carver.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I think the SS is a perfect job site blade. I was thinking if I sharpened the back curve it would give you belly for when you need it. I just want one to try the hawkbill. I can turn it into a wharnie if need be.
