i never give my real info and i give plenty of disinfo, so i dont worry about the invasive principles of facebook and the like.

only thing i have to be aware of is geolocation and satellite data, but when that sort of thing matters i make sure it is also covered.

does that sound paranoid? rather be safe than sorry. anonymity is the first and best shield.

The paranoia is only useful if it is complete. Anything less is insufficient. For example: If people have any kind of government license, tax, financial/credit or utility account in their name attached to or sent to their home, then there is truly no point in worrying much about privacy invasion from other sources as you are already extremely easy to locate. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
