I rigged up my drill press as a milling machine of sorts, figure I'll take two pieces of wood ( Burl source has some cool stuff just for that purpose) trace out the blade shape, then mill it out about half the depth on both sides, then epoxy and pin it together. Do a leather keepers strap, maybe dress up the wood with a laced up leather piece or some carving

I find it a bit bothersome immediately taking a forum special knife ( at special pricing) and flipping it ( or trying to). But that's the nature of the beast I guess
