To me, I felt the .38 was more accurate, primarily because there was almost no kick ( still small with the 357, but almost non existent with the .38). I need to take it and file down the front sight, it's a bit high, but when I adjusted for that, it was dead on

gd, my plan for hog hunting is to just go scout out some wildlife management ares. plan to spend the day just getting familiar with the areas. would be a good time to work on some outdoors skills.

don't know about ohio but i'm told if there is a swamp or enough water then there will most likely be hogs.

They say we have hogs in Missouri, I have never seen one or any signs of them, but down south they may have some.

i've been told they are arent the easiest animals to find. nocturnal so you will have the best luck either late in the day or early in the morning. unless you are overun like florida and lousiana it my be harder to find them. may ask some info at the local gun counters.
