Fun little story. This time last year, I almost died from an infection that started above a tooth and became systemic. I have a lot of luck around the holidays. I made it through it, however. It just took some strong antibiotics and a lot of food.

I grew up in Connecticut, which is where I am now.

When most people think CT, they think Of a bunch of rich people holding there butt cheeks so tightly together that they could turn a lump of coal into a diamond. Some parts are like that and I did grow up near those parts, but there is also the area called the Valley. The Valley is very reminiscent of the south or Midwest, at least how it is dramatized on TV. In fact, there are Skunk Towns in the Valley. I won't tell you what those are because I don't want to hurt your feelings, being a Skunk and all.

OH, speaking of food, I got our Hog Jowl for New years day yesterday. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> The blackeyed peas we already have.

My minds view of CT has always been the maple sugar making friendly Northerners that says Cah instead of Car. Maybe I watched "White Christmas" to much as a kid.

Haha. My mother kept bacon grease to use as cooking oil. Last year, I went from a chubby, yet muscular 200 to an emasculated 140 when I got sick. I made it back to a lean 169, and am now at 154 from what is plaguing my digestive system. I am 5'9", mind you.
