still hitting my head over my hunting trip... first time out hunting deer and was also planning to get a couple rabbits at some point. all the rabbits were out on the plot where the most deer had been showing up and somebody was usually in that house so I didn't go out there. only spotted one doe on the back half where three stands are. went out there on my own yesterday morning and that's what's got me banging my head. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

but man it was a good trip... was supposed to be just me and my youngest first cousin. a bunch of others showed up and we grilled and hung out. went hunting in the morning and late in the day. was pretty much the closest thing to a vacation that I could want.

yup, it was... i would recommend planning a trip with just the guys in the family to anybody. we talked about taking it up a notch and doing a big fishing trip. maybe getting as many in the family as we can and hiring a boat.
