i'm not for the gun control bs what so ever. in fact I bother me that people see a tragedy and use it as an opportunity.

I relealize that in most cases if I get into a rights conversation my opinions could be taken the wrong way. but said and done I think most people are self destructive and boundaries need to be set.
im saying... they had to add a bitter flavor to antifreeze! there are warning labels on everything and it's not for kids, its for adults.
examples of what happens when common sense doesn't prevail. i don't take speed limits or stop signs personally and i lost my _____ when I saw some clown I'm a super duty doing 55 headed to a stop light while text on his phone. Without a doubt society needs boundaries, but some things like the expectation of privacy is a right. A right that only my actions should cause me to loose them, example lose the right while in jail

Many times, those that cry loudest for gun control are those protected by guns. Makes me mad!

but said and done tell me what I can do to make sure your kids are safe? I would've died right there with those teachers.
so i don't take a ban personally. I think it's stupid but I also can't think of any other way some worthless clown can single handedly do that much damage that is legal and left to chance.

They tried it in 1994 it didn't work. Its about control not safety. In 2004 when it was done away with violent crime continued to fall at a greater rate than the prior ten years.
They claimed then it was to save LEO's. It didn't make a difference. now they want to claim its for the children. It won;t make a difference. The things they want to ban are used in such a statistically insignificant amount it will have zero effect except law abiding citizens won't have them.
75% of Law Enforcement in the country don't want more gun control. We know that honest citizens can protect themselves until we get there. With a gun ban many more people will be victimized. We all know laws don't prevent crimes. Criminals don't care.
There are a few big name "Cop" organizations that are fronts for liberal organizations that try to speak for us and they rarely get it right. Think PERF, IACP and about half the time the FOP gets it wrong.

Unfortunately it seems that...well never mind.
People need to have moral values, and stick to them in order for society to be a harmonious place, something it will NEVER be, as long as there are politicians who worry more about "The party line" than about right and wrong.
