the uncomfortable part is what gets me every time. i would look at them again but i dont think it would every be my go to. i would only get one to stick stuff on and use with extended mags. i guess i need to see what the m&p triggers are like before i could go back to a striker fire.

The new ones aren't bad since you can change the back strap. I was issues a 2nd and 3rd gen and they felt like holding a brick. But they shot great. My 4th gen is more comfortable.

the comfort issue is what I was talking about I have never been a glock fan so I didnt know the issues with the gen4s but man I love my M&P eats anything and feels great in hand. We use ruger p89s at work and I HATE them bad ergos and forever triger pull.

Fan of the M&P 9 here, my idpa gun. 3 are stock except for added night sights, 2 are Apex'd out. My favorite carry gun right now is the shield.

I like the M&P's they are turning out to be good pistols. I am still unhappy with Smith & Wesson from the 94 ban.

I have an XD 45 and I like it. Its almost as accurate as my Kimber. It just doesn't feel as solid as my Glock though. I use it as my back gountry pistol. Its nice to have 13 rounds of 45 handy when i bowhunt. With Wolves, Bears and Mountain Lions its my insurance policy.

My wife took over an XD 40 subcompact that we have. Its not too shabby. It fits and feels better than the glock.
