I have 2 Noveske uppers one 14.5 in lightweight 5.56 and 16 in 300 AAC. Super high quality stuff, expensive but worth every penny.

A new ar ban just got through comittee here in the people's republic. Don't think it will pass, but who knows now a days.

man I remember those bargin bin cmmg ar15's. couldve bought one a month back then. probably could sell them now and go buy a few acres.

My first ar was a cmmg bargain bin. I think it was 500 for the rifle back then. That would barely buy a Noveske barrel though. CMMG is from mo and run a 3-gun yearly that's fun, the quality of there rifles are questionable to some, but I haven't had any problems. The owners nice people too.

Stopped at a local gun store today. Not an AR or PMag to be found but they have lots of Glocks.

I ordered my AK a week before the shooting at a gun show. was AR's everywhere. my rifle came in and I picked it up the day after the shooting. went to the most well stocked gun shop in my area the next day. rows of semi auto hicap rifles . went in yesterday and they were wiped out. everything! they had boxes of AK and AR mags. all of it was gone! just a coupler ptr91 mags...

Good luck finding mags. I'm well stocked in that area, but may get some rebuild kits just to have.

bought a thermold 30 and steel 30 for while I was there. was going to buy more but felt they where a bit over priced. talked myself out of getting a polymer m14 mag because I had just ordered two off of forum. had put that off for 3 years. guess I just have good timing...

Ordered 10 PMags from Brownells before they stopped accepting backorders. Hopefully I get them before any ban goes into effect.

think I'm going to try and get a m&p soon. i'm liking the look of the talo boron coated ones.
