I wouldn't have as a big a problem if the physical portion was not weighted differently. But I can guarantee if they did they would just lower the standards.
Humping a heavy ruck and weapons up a mountain isn't easy.

Thats whats going to happen with the military here. I have no problem with anyone that can meet the standards. There are plenty of men that can't meet the current ones either.

The Commandant of the Marine Corps has already said he will not lower any standards. Just crossing my fingers the SecDef doesn't override him. Not sure what the Army's stance is.
