I had a custom set of Hoage's on a chief's special I used to have and they were nice, just thinner than I wanted. The two finger grip was OK, but I still prefer the larger grip, specially with when running Mags through it. (the 60, NOT the chief's special). When I carry this revolver My normal ammo load is an MTM (?) ammo wallet that holds I think if I remember right, 18 rounds in a plastic snap closed case.

Those are nice! and with the 44, would be really nice to hang onto.

If you want flash, but subdued, go with the top ones. If you want "Business" go with the bottom ones. Just my 2c.

I was going to get a new upper but it looks like those are gone for the next 9 months or so. So I thought I would put some time into my more neglected collection.

I think the grips will make me like shootign the 44 more. I can't stand the stock ones. The pistol is a tack driver. The stock grip is just ackward.

Same price, same grip, just different wood. I'm leaning towars the rosewood. Mostly because I am not very evolved and its shiny.

What is your 44. I used to have a Redhawk (back in '85) but traded it off for a Colt officers model that I got rid of around '95.

The top ones? Yeah I like those. Nice looking without really being flashy although they are fancy.

I replaced the normal sights on my Redhawk with a gold bed front and a V notch rear. Yeah, I'm old fashioned.

I'm getting ready to go the Front Dot and Rear V on my G17.

Its a Red Hawk with a 5 1/2" barrel.
