On my Glock 23 I have had 0 malfunctions. I have shot about 500 rounds of 9mm in it including steel wolf and Winchester white box. That being said maybe I just got lucky. Yes, you probably were lucky with this as there's a pretty significant difference between 9mm and 40 casings which means you should need the 9mm extractor to avoid issues. Also, this could cause issues in regards to longevity of your 40 extractor but I am not 100% on this. The extractors that come stock now are cheap metal injected molded crap which will give you problems after your round count gets higher. I can highly recommend upgrading the extractor to a Lone Wolf extractor which is of much higher quality, durability and reliability being that it is cast from A1 tool steel. Cool I will look into that. I have probably 5k rounds on that 23 but it is all .40 I used to shoot IDPA got a G35 then didnt do it much more.

As that sits right now there is nothing I want to change out on it. Great trigger, rounded profiled siights no real sharp edges.
I had the stock rubber grips which I had never liked and slot screws. Just some functional bling.

Very positive grip. A little less aggressive than the new gen 4 glock grip yet more positive grip wise if it makes sense. The cutout for the mag release is great. A huge improvement over the stock grips.
