Maybe I have the model number wrong. I thought it was a 30-30 but it may be a 22mag. Dad gave it to me about 15 years ago and I just never bothered bringing it up to the house. I also have a remington 552 speedmaster out there. I left it with him to use when I swiped his 10/22.

The ones they produced between 2010 and whenever they closed the plant were horrible. The workers knew their jobs were gone and didn't care about quality control.

Oh and Greaser, did I mention that the water table is only about 20-25 feet? And it's sandy soil.

If its a 30-30 its probably a 336. That could be it, it looks like the Model 94 but has side eject.

it has taken a lot of reserve for me not to get a 336. all of the seasonal sales make for a easy impulse buy. just would rather have one in .357...
right now I'm leaning towardsna hunting shotgun or a 7.62x39 rifle.

I have one of the first gen 1895 ported Guide Guns in 45/70. That is a great lever gun.
