The only trait my 2 shared when they were newborns is that they liked to sleep. They still do to this day.

man, i'm really hoping its temporary, its been hell.

the brief version, which ain't that brief, goes like this...

i came down with bronchitis in september. when i was recovering from that i had an allergic reaction that triggered a relapse. then over the holidays some sick relatives came by and gave me the flu which resulted in another relapse.

been on all sorts of medications and haven't been able to do anything all winter. finally hooked up with a pulmonologist, did some tests. no indications of asthma. i was scheduled to have a ct scan, then last week an unknowingly sick friend stopped by and gave me a cold, i'm back to coughing again and the ct scan is on hold.

starting to feel better from the virus today, gotta meet up with the docs again and get the scan done. really hope they don't find anything else goin on in there.

i read that severe bronchitis can take up to a year and a half to fully recover from. i hope it doesn't take that long, but i'd rather that than something more invasive.

i've never had any respiratory problems in my life, and i like to keep fit otherwise, so this has been quite an ordeal. i can't wait to get it behind me.

Sorry to hear that WW. Sounds like you just can't catch a break. You need to isolate yourself from the world for a while.

if there is one thing i'm good at, it's bad luck.

and normally i'm quite the hermit, so it was very upsetting to have the rare occasion that someone stops by result in another relapse.

just gotta keep plugging away.

In the mean time make a run for the porch.
