Well dogs, it is rapidly approaching time for me to hit the streets and head for home. Gotta have Patty at her appointment at 10am so I don't need to be in a mad rush to get home, good thing because at least the bridges and overpasses are slick. Hopefully the roadway isn't. We got just enough snow to make it so you can't see out the windshield.
Later, peace and rest to you and all those you care for.

I'm leaning towards the x39 bolt rifle. its almost a tie for filling the intended role so it comes down to ammo. I'm thinking I will probably put more rounds through my ak more than either of those choices. makes sense to have ammo on hand that I can use in the ak. also after this purchase I'll proabably focus more on stocking up on ammo and buying other gear. if I don't get another firearm anytime soon I think the bolt and ak combi will get a little more use than a lever and revolver.

I'm waiting to see what happens with new regs/laws here and prices. First choice is an AR, but if we get hit, then it will be the CZ carbine in 7.62
Put some slugs through it the other day...like 2 feet below point of aim at 50 yards. I haven't shot slugs since I was a teen and don't recall the drop! hah! I shot and looked "where the he** did I hit?!" Cycled well enough and got a couple boxes of #4 buck shot and look forward to checking it out when I'm able...
