We all fish,walk endless trails, swim or just bake and float in my case.
And each night we gathered wood for a bonfire and did Smores and told stories. Some sppoky , some spiritual but never got slammed or had religeon jammed down our throats. I know that's the only reason I joined this Chuch of mine in the first place.
It was more like a town social club. Before long you know who is who and what business they run or are into. Pretty cool after the first month. Before that I was still shakey on the whole Church thing.

I went to a wilderness survival school and one morning the instructors showed us where the bears had gone through close to our camp...I slep lighter after that... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

They call them "scholerships" here in Wisconsin. But wherever the camps are the churches are begging you to go or at least send your children to them!

I'd give up sleep!

Not really, we have Bears even in lower Wi. where I live. When we take our Sunday nature walks we always find Bear prints in the wet mud by the creek and the dogs show us the poo poo.

Black Bears is all we have. Berry eaters and scared to death of us humans.

I always carry the Dog Father and Mutt as well as a few folders when we walk.

I'm just gonna make sure, I've got my shotgun with me....from now on.

When the most gifted leather crafter in North America makes my SS-4 sheath I will carry it instead of the oversized Mutt. Too thick for EDC.
