I was looking for a GP100 when I came across a used 686 a couple of weeks ago. Grabbed it for the same price as a GP100.

A couple of local stores now have AR's in stock at normal prices. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

problem I had a month ago worked out so i'm still hopeful i can pick up another rifle this year. i'm leaning back towards finding an AR in 7.62x39. nothing fancy but something i can put a scope on.

The fight isn't totally over. They can still kill us with a thousand cuts (at state level). And nobody is saying they won't put some type of AWB as an add-on to a bill later on.

Seems like more and more ARs are showing up on slick guns and at better prices. Just hope I can bag something before CT lowers the boom...we have bad news coming for sure!

I think I'll try to stay away from the gun store for awhile. Hoffman never answer their phone. Newington Gun exchange said they do not "special order" anything right now. You get what you see there.

was thinking i should probably put type of illuminated sights on my shield at some point. I wear glasses and If something happens and I don't have them at least my sights will stand out.

speaking of the shield... just spotted one online.

saw some at a local shop here prices at $750. just laughed...

Saw a GP100 today for $560 out the door. Blued with a 4 inch barrel IIRC.

Also had a S&W 686 6 inch barrel for $600 out the door.

Hey Lazi hows it goin , i prefer to have night sights on all of my ccw guns now i just need to get them on my xds, there were a few shields at the show today but they said they were gone by 10:oo.
