checked out the hog hunter at bass pro last year. I liked it but when I got home and googled it I saw a bad review. lately I've seen a handful of good reviews. I like the iron sights but the stock didn't feel that great to me. not a big issue though. i'd buy one but i'm hoping to find a 7.62x39 bolt rifle when the funds are there.

at the minimum i think it's time to add a mosin nagant to the line up.

Good choice. I love my mosins. Very affordable and a lot of fun to shoot.

with the price of the firearm and price of the ammo it just makes sense to have one. i always manage to put if off somehow.

If you keep waiting you may not get one. Prices for these have been steadily rising.

yup, that's what I was thinking. i actually may just go ahead and get one. been seeing the m44's show up. you know anything about these? looks like a short version. but have to wounded if shorter is worth almost double the price.

Don't figure I'll be buying much if any more firearms. I might trade some around though. I've got dupes of some and others don't figure I have all that much use for.

Oh and when I said dupes, I meant in calibers, not multiple copies of a single firearm.

7.62x54r is the only caliber I'm willing to add at this point. it's not a priority but with prices steady going up I should put this purchase behind me or I'll always be wishing I had gotten one.

once i find another rifle i want I'll be done with buying firearms for a while I hope. still plenty other I want but it's time to start looking at other gear.
