another sales trick...
call on wednesdays or thursdays... if you a on mondays you are likely to get lumped in with the rest of the weeks "problems". give them a couple days to see the end of the road. if you call on the down side of the week they are more likely to be free an clear. there is also more of a chance the customer will want to deal with whatever you are talking about before the week ends. you don't want them to have time to talk themselves out of whatever you are pushing.
