I'm not too worried, like I said, but I've had to look for a job before. I've actually been talking to another county about being a reserve dispatcher there. If that pans out, I could move there if something happened here.

I'm not too worried about that either. The night shift supervisor over there is a good friend of mine, and she's helping me out.

I'm hoping that I can fully retire in three more years. I'll be 62.

I've about got another hundred down. I forget where I started the day, but it seems like it was about 23150 or so.

How far away is that other place from home?

I'll probably never retire. By the time I get there, SS will be gone or severely cut back.

About 25 minutes. I worked less than a mile from there for 10 years, so the drive doesn't bother me.

IF I can still draw all my retirements we should be able to make it. I'll (IF it's still allowed by then) 4 retirements total.

We'll have our house paid for in another 14 years, so I MAY be able to retire if my 401k holds up. I've got about 30k in it in 6 years, and I'm piling all I can in it.

I can't wait to make that last payment. I wanna tell the mortgage company to kiss my ### personally. They've been real jerks sometimes, and we've never been more than a couple weeks behind. I'd hate to see how they talk to people that are months behind.
