What were you looking for this time?

my plan is still to pick up a mosin.

Are you going to customize it or leave it original?

I ended up with half what I wanted off eBay and only quarter of what I expected to show up this week. I was pretty po'd... it was already late and no telling when I will see the rest.

i don't think I will do anything to it. the purpose would be to keep it inexpensive and shoot inexpensive ammo.

That's the way I have mine. I had thought about buying an aftermarket stock which I may do someday but for now it's all original.

right now it's still a toss up between a mosin and a x39 bolt rifle. it's pretty frustrating because everything from from the last couple months would cover me getting both but silly stuff like eBay and what happened today keep messing with my plans. just enough to keep me off...

i figure if I want a gun with stuff on it i could always get a cheap rifle like a savage axis or a ruger american. the mosin is about getting more bang for the buck.

You do get a lot of bang with a mosin. If you're set on getting one I would suggest you stock up on ammo while it is still cheap.

yup, once i get the rifles I want i'm going to start stocking up my ammo supply.

have you been checking for ammo lately?

been a couple months since I really looked. my guess is it will start staying on shelves over the summer and be back in full stock by the end of fall.

There is still a storage here for ammo. LGS got about 500 bricks of .22LR and it was sold out in less than a day... 2 bricks per customer limit too!
