Well, here's to hoping I have a box waiting for me when I get home then!
I had the same thing last week Tom. Got a box with a 711 in it and 3 days later got a shipping notice. Oh yeah!

Does anyone know for sure what steel these are out of? I was told at Blade they are SR101, but I've also heard they are 12c27. Anyone know for sure? you don't trust me huh? I see how it is <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

At Blade they said they were that 12c something something sandvick something stainless steel. Will definitely be stripping one of the black ones. At the show, I allso picked up some carbon fiber scales that will be fitted up asap.

sounds like a cool project. i hope i can get one at some point. but i have a sog boot knife that size that i dont carry.

true. but dubble edged blades are in a grey area legaly in ohio. most knives are in the grey area. but the dubble edge can be bad if the right LEO pulls you over and the judge agrees.
