Great day after National Knife Day! Nice collection. I got my Swamp Rat Rodent 6 today. It is one serious chunk of steel. Looks unbreakable. Then I see the big 1311 offering. I don't even have the 911 yet (it's on order). <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Thank you foscle. Dan spoils us Dogs cuz we all know the only way he can keep the prices down is by sacrificing for his Dogs. If every company in the US would do that we could get the economy back on it's feet again. I have much respect for the Yard and the way they take care of their customers. Proud to be a member here.

Dan really knows how to keep the pack happy and I'm grateful to be a part of it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I just got a new belt sander with some great advice from Ireash. Now I'll have to go back and read your tutorial again Vic to learn how to use it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

In my never ending quest for the Ultimate Machete, I have the BRKT machete (a reground Ontario shortened to 14" with micarta scales), the ESEE Light machete (a 18" Condor fitted with micarta scales), and various kukris, machetes, parangs and goloks. This 1311 looks like the beast I have been waiting for. SR101 steel is way above even Condor's 420HC, which is pretty good stuff for a machete. SYKCO has come thru again.
