What type of carry options are you considering, belt, back, baldric, chest, or some other for the 1311?

I have a nice chest rig set up, but I'm thinking this beast is too long for that carry option.

I plan to carry mine on my backpack.
I will attempt a kydex sheath for it( my first).

Can't really see me carrying it on my body. I fear it would be too clumpsy.

If the kydex comes out ok, I certainly will make carry options other than on my backpack...

I have a 1 inch nylon web belt that I think I'll use for belt carry and baldric. Thinking about a couple carabiners through a couple eyelets and I'll be good to go.

Backpack for me. Or behind the front seat.

Backpack will be first option. I will have some kind of belt option and if I have the beast with me, then I got rope to make a baldric rig if I gotta drop the pack. Always got to have options, belt is not prefered but better then not having it. Think the kydex is gonna need to be an easy access one. Lighten it up and make it easier to use.

I was wondering if there will there be a black cordura sheath available from the SYKC store for the 1311?

It is possible Crpoc, but Dan didn't say anything about one. But if enough folks ask......

I just measured the largest sheath Dan has on the site and it isn't long enough for the 1311.

You could aways modify a machete sheath.
