So I added a similar thread over on Busse's site to rattle the cages of the Hogs but truth be told I don't see anything out chopping this beast

But for us poor unfortunate dogs that don't have a zilla, the 1311 is the next best thing.

yeah that is a beast but I can guarantee you this, chop with both and see how much more energy you have after the 1311 to tilt beers you'll agree with me then

I'm really looking forward to comparing the two, and I posted that here since I posted the same over on BF

Dunno, I'm sure it will be lighter, but I don't get that fatigued from my zilla and I've used it before for extended periods of time clearing back the overgrowth from the road over at my parents place

The Zilla is bad [censored], I really wish I still had mine, alot has to do with the edge on them as well, yours looks fully convexed and no V-bevel blade is going to outdo a zero edge. I just look at my thin machetes and they are so much better at chopping that the typical heave blades. Horn Dog should chime in here, would be interested to hear his opinion.

Absolutely, the change of the edge was a big difference, it was a good chopper, but so so against lighter vegetation, after I thinned it a bit and really zeroed the edge, she's a wood devouring beast, and goes through light vegetation like a machete. Anyways, she just hates being left out of the convo for best chopper ever, jealously and all that.

The 1311 is the first chopper that I've actually been excited for since I got the zilla, even the NMSHBMLB didnt do this

yeah my bad for forgetting her, hopefully some day I will own another one. While I am looking forward to the NMSHBMLB this 1311 is going to be fun and I am sure will be a classic. Now the dreaded wait till they are ready.... [censored] hopefully before the bad weather sets in, gonna plan a camping trip around this one's arrival I know a certain drummer boy who is a fellow dog here and struggles at chopping I am sure the lighter blade will make him happy

If you can get me a Zilla for $199.95 I'll test it for ya.

Plus the 13-11 will be so much lighter and besides a great chopper at 3/16" an excellent slicer as well.

I have not ordered yet. I keep trying to justify it. I have a B11 (and KZII that I worked a convex on).

I would have to sell one of my Busse. Likely either a BAD, or a SarQ to pay for it (I could get the 13-11 and another scrap yard offering for the price).

I keep saying I am going to get scrapyard, and swamprat, specifically to try out the steel, and the price point can't be beat.

How long is the blade on that KZ?
That may be the deciding factor...
