I've been trying to find a SS nesting cup that will fit my 32oz Nalgene bottles. Apparently, Nalgene made two SLIGHTLY different diameter bottles, because cups listed as nesting on a standard 32oz don't fit my bottles <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />
The bottles in question are the newer "BPA Free" variety, but I also have some older units that also will not fit the cups I've tried. This has included a no-name feeBay cup, an off brand bought at Dick's and one from WalMart.
I've read that the GSI cups don't fit well either, but haven't tried one personally.
Does anyone have a stainless cup that will nest on their 32oz Nalgene bottle?

Have the same setup and they work great together. Plus you can wrap a bunch of duct tape around that bottle.

Sethro, YUP! Take that rubber thingie off the middle of the bottle and wrap tape to your hearts content. Or you could wrap some 3/32 inch cord there as well.

Oh and I think it was Sar5 that engraved markings on the inside of his cup, just scribed a line at I think a half and one full cup. THEN to keep anything from rusting he was told to rub lemon juice on the fresh scratches. IF I remember correctly he said that it hasn't really stained (Yes I know, but SS is stain LESS, not stain free).

There were some smaller-than-spec GSI stainless cups out a while back. I had a couple and they took care of the problem.
Too, I found that my GSI cups would split along the rim for some reason when exposed to direct flames.
I changed out to Ti cups.
YMMV
