I believe its called a swedish candle. Kerosene is a good way to get it started. It will burn for several hours. You usually want a log the thats 10 inches in diameter and about 30 inches tall.

That is sweet, I never thought about that. It makes perfect sense that it shouldn't be difficult to start. The thinner part of the wedges act like kindling and would be easy to start up.
