Jeff does make some top-notch stuff.
But as I understood he needed the sheath inbound pretty soon... If he could get the knife from the store quickly, and the sheath off the Exchange, he could be good to go in a matter if days.
But it depends on how soon Renee can fix him up with the knife.

I am currently deployed and would like to possibly get a 511 or 711, can anyone tell me if they will ship right away, also where would be the best place to get a kydex sheath? Thanks

From what I have heard from my friends who are/were deployed...a 711 will stay on your pack the whole time. a 511 might actually be carried daily. Your mileage may vary but if you have never actually handled both/either there is a huge difference in weight.

I like Rainwalker's fit on ResC handles a little better than Azwelke but Azwelke is crazy fast.

If Renee can't help you send me an email I might be able to help you out. jfogt6@woh.rr.com

Thanks you for your service and stay safe.

f3outdoors, don't let JJ (Jarheadjournalist) fool you. He is an active duty Marine and makes a NICE sheath. He made one for my 911 and it is on par with the professional makers here (Well ALMOST) (dont' want him to get a big head).

Seriously He DOES make a nice sheath that would serve you well.

in my above post I think im referring to the elmax 460, are they available, does anyone have one to sell? I think this would work for me better than a 511, not to take away from the 511 at all

There were a few on BF exchange but someone here may have one also. From what I gather the elmax is more of a slicer then a hard use knife.
