I use one for my large blades. Not great on the little ones, but on anything 8 inches or longer, it's the best and fastest method i know.

DT. how well did it work on a rodent solution? thats a smaller blade

It sharpened the RS and the WD just fine. Also did great on my Gerber Freeman.

As noted above, stop grinding when the tip is about 1/3 of the way across the belt. You should be fine.

P.S. I highly recommend promotive.com, especially if you are a member of an organization that uses stuff you like. The organization you are in determines what you get discounts on. Example: I am in the Corps, so I get deals on tactical type stuff.
