That is exactly why they can't have it, we had to cut the camelpack logo off our ...camelbacks. The military can't endorse or support and name brand items. Even though EVERYONE knew what brand everything was....that's the military for you....still affecting me even after I am out <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I suppose things change over time, even in the military. When I was in VietNam nobody cared what we carried if it was a personal item, including knives. It didn't matter if they were logoed Buck, Gerber, Case, or whatever. Possibly the difference was that we were normally in the "bush", and did not encounter much "big brass" in the boonies, thereby dodging more hassles.

I can understand manufacturers producing "sterile" items for the military contracts, but items for individuals should carry the logos, etc. I would certainly like them on any Scrap Yard knives I purchase - it is a sharp logo!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Tom

All INFI stuff should 'say' SY and if the logo mutt was chewing the word INFI that'd be rather good!

If no issue kit has logos do 'they' grind the prancing horse off the M16's?

I seem to remember M92F's were logo'd too... Anyone say double standard? SY... proud to stick it to the Taliban or Insurgency...
