For those of you who have already received your 1311s, how sharp were the factory edges?
Do you feel like they are going to need to be refined in order to be optimally functional, or are they sharp enough straight from the factory?

Mine is sharp! For now I don't need to work on it.
Oh, and did I mention, it rocks?!
Having only one pancake, leaves more room for bacon!

Mine is sharp as well. Still haven't had a chance to "Wring it out" but it just HAS to be a fantastic chopper. I have actually never received a blade from the Yard which didn't have a good edge on it out of the box.
Having only one pancake, leaves more room for bacon!

The only one I had a sharpness issue with was the Wardog. I put a regular V grind on it and it's good to go!

The factory edge on mine was fine. But I always sharpen my knives to refine them unless they come shaving sharp.

Actually one of the best edges I have received from the yard. I will reprofile as always, but it was ready to rock right out of the box!
