Colt is nice but I think the LMT MWS is a better weapon

Your gun days are just beginning.

How about a nice bolt action .308...build it for precision?

OR, instead of .308, how about a really nice precision .22lr for practice / small game hunting. Ideal for training your little rugrat too! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I probably should just go to the store and buy some diapers LOL.

LOL! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> It's coming!

Do bag that rifle now though Sumo...full time day care for my little girl and aftercare from my son equals the mortgage!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

We are lucky. My mother was going to retire at the end of the school year after 37 years of teaching. She checked with her retirement people and if she retires in March she will only make 18 dollars a month less than if she stayed through May. My mom and mother in law will be the sitter for a while, can't think of better ladies as they have early child development degrees and my mother has taught elementary all these years--and my dad is a retired middle school teacher. Sometimes life does work out.

Have a single shot youth Glenfield my Papa gave me when I was little, have the wife's Yellowboy, and my CZ 452 for true accuracy. Got that covered. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

What does one of those go for? I would have to get rid of some stuff to do anything but I am thinking more quality over quantity and a lot of the mil-surps can go so I really don't shoot them much!

Awesome rifles. For the price, I'd bump it up a notch and go custom bolt...but if you have a custom bolt...why not? http://www.laruetactical.com/predatobr-762-16inch

Larue or LMT. Precision and semi auto. Both of those rifles have printed freaky small groups with milplus ammo

da da da...dang! Guys are gonna get Jeff filleted by his wife...she's got 7 months of hormonal madness to squeeze into 2! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Those CZ bolt carbines look sooo tempting (I'm becoming a big cz fanboy I think...but I think Max has me talked into an AR)

Get something sweet Jeff! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Great to hear you have a nice childcare set-up..that's huge. Family support is great...so I'm told! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Or build one on a Mega upper/lower. The AR platform is more accurate but I've never met a .308 AR yet that had "The Feel" to it like the FAL. I'm probably just weird but if a gun or knife doesn't have "The Feel" it's not going to stick around my house very long.

I have seen some awesome mega builds but I never really figured out where you buy the parts.
