Is this going to turn into a choil vs non-choil thread? HAHA As stated on other posts, I like them on smaller knives, but not bigger knives. My spyderco dragonfly had a small one and I loved it.

No, this will not be another choil thread because it's just wishful thinking on my part....

The statistics for Bussekin blades are about 99% offerred with choil and 1% offered without choil so there's really not much to discuss.

I'm just surprised that the Swamp Rat hawks didn't have a choil on them, cause god knows they aren't designed right if you can't choke up on them.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />

My only hope is that someday we will be given the option of no choil on most if not all new designs, even if that means paying slightly more. In my eyes this would be a performance increase that I'd be willing to pay more for.

I'm not going to hold my breath on this however, I've just quietly started to look at other makers since nobody at Busse Knife Group seems to care much about satisfying the end user's requirements/preferences.

That's the great thing about knives, is there is other options. I see some of what your saying, but not all. From what I've seen Busse Combat and the Scrapyard do listen to their customer base. Guess they can't please every individuals needs. A call to the custom shop may remedy that though.
