Ammo is still nowhere to be found. Our state lawmakers is getting ready to put a "feel good" bill thru next week. I'm really kicking myself for not getting ammo/pmags/another AR15 when I got the chance...

Wowza, it's not even in the Hartford Courant yet..yeesh! This AR is supposed to arrive at the LGS Monday and they'll need to process it...clock is ticking!

My guess is they are going to push it thru as fast as they could like they did for the Safe Act in NY.

Ammo availability at normal prices suck, but that is what I get for not having enough to keep me happy. I sure would love to find some reasonable ammo o I can shoot but it sure has made not going to the gun store and wanting new firearms easy.

DT sent me a link for Midway on .22 for sale. Got me 1 bulk box of 500. You really need to hit Wallmart and Dick's SG every day and eraly AM. I have really been doing well on the .22, 45, and 38 special. The ammo is there but you need to be the early bird. Ammo requires work now a days.

Just picked up 3 boxes of 45 at my local gun shop today. THey were out of 22 and 9. Had some 223, but I wasn't gonna pay $.90 a round for regular FMJ ammo.... 45 was $26/box for PMC. Not too bad a price. Stopped by Walmart later...bare shelves galore....

Picked up a DPMS lower at the normal price yesterday. Seems like the supply is picking up. When I got there in the afternoon they still had about a dozen AR's left. Ammo is still in short supply but they said the supply line is starting to open up.

I'm not sure how true that is. Still no ammo anywhere around here and I've been looking. Keeping a stockpile isn't a bad idea anymore. Orders from Midway and Brownells is still up in the air. I'm only shooting .22LR only because I have a few bricks of 'em left.

there's a handful more gun/ammo finder websites around. I'm actually thinking of busing one myself that will badically pull a feed off the the others.

i still haven't bought any ammo online. seems like every time I want something the shipping is juat higher than I'm willing to pay.

I'm pretty hit. I haven't bought 22 in quantity in weeks, b/c I shoot at MSI I have to have lead only for 9mm or that herters nylon jacketed and it's been 1.5 months since I've found that at Cabela's. MSI was selling 50 round boxes of 22lr 1 per person per day..that's helped...

I was able to order some Herters .38 special at Cabela's but they limit 5 boxes per day so that won't last. Still kicking myself for not getting the .22LR bricks that i saw every time I walked by it last year...

Ammo is still tight around here. I'm HOPING that a couple of weeks or so of the "one box rule" at WalMart will loosen things up a bit. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />
