It appears he was killed by a former soldier he was working with that had PTSD.
According to the local news stations in Texas they have the suspect in custody.

He shot and killed 160 people and bragged about it in a book.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

And he saved countless American soldiers lives by taking the fight to the enemy.
I didn't see it as bragging I thought he was just telling as it happened.

He provided overwatch and security as a member of Seal Team 3. He made sure many of our soldiers could make it back home to see their families while in a hostile combat environment.

He was a very nice, polite and surprisingly humble guy in real life.

If you meant that in the tone I took it you have just lost a whole lot of my respect.

He shot and killed more than 160 "insurgents", most of who were shooting at marines that he was assigned to cover. He then wrote a book about military life that described some of his missions in a few of the chapters.

Really depends on how we write it to make it positive or negative, and while I understand where you are coming from, I don't see it from that perspective. I was never in the military, but have respect for those that have done so.

Definitely not trying to start something here, but could not hold my
"commando chair" typing hands.

With much respect,

Luck
