I am neither pleased nor upset with this decision. I have traveled the world many times over in planes and never needed to cut anything on a plane.
I've never needed to cut anything on a plane either. But, I can pack everything I need for week long business trip on a carry on. I don't check anything in. So, I couldn't have a multi-tool with me on a trip. But, now...it's all good.
