Figured since I've been observing lots of stuff here in Taiwan, I'd start a thread about the amusing things I've seen. Mostly has to do with the way folks use English. Some things I've got pics of, sadly others I do not. I'll start it off with a couple I don't:
- Yesterday as I was at a pharmacy and I happened to find myself looking at a product called "Atomic Enema." I don't know about you, but that's a product I am sure I would never use....unless things had gotten reeeeeeally bad.
- On a different trip, the airplane in China had had a sign in the bathroom for "Assy Parfume." To this day, I really don't know what it was, but again, I'm sure it's another product I don't want to get any closer to.
Feel free to throw anything in this thread that you think might put a smile in someone's day--within the parameters of the forum rules, of course.

In Germany, I get on the autoban and see "Ausfahrt" at the next exit. After snikering at the fahrt part, I noticed that every exit had a "Ausfahrt" sign. I thought this town of "Ausfahrt" is huge, until it dawned on me that "Ausfahrt" is german for "exit".

Stopped at a vending machine in Tokyo (one side was hot items the other side cold) and saw a can of tea. It was in a Golden/yellow can with black writting. the name of the tea printed on the can was URIN TEA! I passed until one night, after to much Saki..... It was Tea, REGULAR tea.

When I was in Korea, a work friend was complaining about how much it was going to cost him to take his mutt dog back to the states. While at his house (he was married to a Korean) for his going away party, I asked him what he decided to do about his dog. He pointed to my plate.
Apparently his Korean uncle offered to solve his dog problem by making it the main course at his party. Gotta admit, dog is mighty tasty.

We had a general who was going to visit our base in Thailand. He sent his prize hunting dogs ahead to the base in care of the base commander. But the BASE commander was a Thai colonel. The dogs were fattened and cooked to perfection in a feast to honor the visiting general. True story.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I decided not to take a pic, but tonight at a night market, I saw a t-shirt that said "My [(ahem) female nether region] tastes like Pepsi Cola."
This is why it's usually a bad idea to wear clothes in a foreign language if you don't know what it says....
