Just got back from 5th stop in a week looking for 9mm lead only and 22 lr and nada! I would have been at the range but am uncomfortably low!
I was at Cabelas and lots of shotgun ammo around, .17 galore, 7mm, 7.62-54 and some others...makes me think the idea of buying popular calibers might not be all it's cracked up to be!

 Now..off to gunblot! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I can't find any .22 LR to save my life. My wife has just recently taken up shooting and 22's are much cheaper to practice with, if I can find them. She's mainly shooting a .38 Special that's costing me ~$20/box. I'm going broke quickly!

Our WalMart got in a few boxes of .22's, 9mm, and some shotgun shells. I got the last box of 333 Winchester .22's and a couple of .30-06. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Their delivery days are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, so I will keep checking on them. I'm getting to know some of the other guys stalking the Sporting Goods department on "ammo day". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I've found no ammo love online <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> I hear it's not much better at home...
 22, 9mm, 45, and now even 380....

I've got a few oddball cartridges--25-06, 303 British, 7.62x54 (not all THAT odd I guess). Problem is, while ammo can be found, it's STILL pricey!

Well, I have enough ammo for a bit...assuming I don't go shooting. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> It's real easy to start letting the conspiratorial voices get to you in times like these <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I can find 9mm here and have a healthy stash...my range not handling jacketed bullets is hurting me now!
I was not smart in letting my 22 store dwindle, but I've been shooting pretty regular thinking the stores will come back at any time! I hope my 3 month old order from Cabelas comes in soon like they said!!

I saw some .380 the other day and thought I should buy a bersa so I can shoot!!

I'm shooting pretty much all .22 right now. You can check out the "Who Has Ammo In Stock Thread" over CTGUNTALK it helped me a bit but you have to be on top of it before they are gone. I was able to score some .45 at normal price using that.
Remember when a brick of .22 was 14 bucks? those days are long gone.

Thanks Kenken, I'll check it out.
Where do you shoot? I go over to MSI in Manchester. Guy next door will sponsor me at Andover Sportman's club this spring, so that will give me more options.
