I thought about it but decided against changing I just buy whatever I come across and horde it but not to the extent that I have more than I could ever use, in fact I still consider myself lacking.

To greaser's point...

I'll sell the HK USP Compact 40 when 9mm and 45Acp ammo become widely available again. Until then, I'm only shooting enough of those calibers (9x19mm & 45Acp) to ensure our carry guns are still functioning properly (my wife carries a Glock 26NS and I carry a HK45CT).

We both have Ruger LCP's that we also EDC, but they suck to shoot so the lack of availability of 380Acp hasn't been a concern (yet).

one nice thing about the .45 is it can be loaded with cast lead bullets made by yourself or usually someone local for around 25 cents. I wouldn't have recommend getting into reloading a year ago to most people but it may be the only way to keep shooting if the shortages keep up. I know it has allowed me to keep up on my shooting.

I use to have a nice Dillon 550 set up, but sold it about 10 years ago. Ammo was cheap then.

I regret selling my press, dies, etc.

I've probably mentioned this before somewhere else but it goes to show how much this impacted me.

Yea nice choice. I was so close to buying the winchester trapper in .44 mag in high school. Someone talked me out of it saying I could always get one later. This was when you could find them on sale for about $350. I think it was later that year winchester went under and all models doubled in price. So frustrating.

yep if there is something you want and can afford get it, worse comes to worse you can always flip it later.
