Just was in Wally World and they had a mossberg 930 tactical for $499.99
It's a semi auto and I used the waterfowl model when guiding hunts in NY and sand mud and water never made it stop once on me. Randy should check that out

Hey Phil, what have you heard, if anything about the Weatherby PA-459 shotguns (12 and 20)?

Hehe, me either until earlier this week. Seems that Weatherby is now making (OK, having made in Turkey) two different home defense or assault shotguns. The PA459 and SA459. Pump action and semi auto action shotguns in both 12 and 20 ga. They look nice and the 20 at least feels really nice (Empty, saw it in a Gun Store). They have gotten pretty good write ups.

Our Chief deputy bought a Stoger 12 pump for duty carry and has used it a lot. Never a problem with it in any way. He finally sold it as he went to an AR15 instead.
