Three summers ago
A guy walked up our street with a hammer breaking car windows including my wife's truck
A lady followed about 50 feet behind him on a cell phone with the cops
We were the fourth or fifth street he had walked up
His reason that he told the cops was he was bored and mad at his mom
Again, a good ole butt whoopin in order! The real killer was each of us had to pay at least $250 deductible on our car insurance He was a minor so we weren't even entitled to know his name Only good thing was we live close to a high school, so some of the cars vandalized belonged to students families Some justice was served I am. Told

I like my privacy, but I don't think I could live that far away from civilization. We were going to move to Whitehorse which Iirc has about 20000 people

That should be "Out in the wilds" enough, maybe. But from what I have heard Whitehorse is the jumping off point for "All points North" isn't it?
