Toast, I think what you are calling dual engagement is just the nature of the beast. Virtually all my linerlocks/framelocks do this. Engage further when "Snapped" open Vs slow and easy. mone do a bit also just not to this extent. The soft engagement may be the thickness of a ppiece of paper and seems as though it would disengage with little to effort. I have tried to make it fail but it hasn't yet. I womder if it will wear into a more normal, further back engagement after a bit more usage.

My favorite folders. ZT 0200 Kershaw Blur The difference in size between those two is impressive. I have looked at the zt0200 for a while. Seems like a nice design.

I have somewhat large hands and the 0200 fits me perfectly. Very comfortable. The blade is 154CM. I liked the 0200 so much that I was going to get another one. Then I ran into Bussekin. A second one is now on hold.

My favorite folder is 5.11 karambit.
IŽd like to buy a Cold Steel Talwar, but I think I will hold until the Blade 2013 SYCKO releases are revealed.

The bladeshape kind of reminds me of the beak of a dodo bird. Not knocking it, just pointing out that's what came to mind.

It doesn't look like Tom's Dodo Bird though.
