that's what i noticed. been reading about problems since I first started wanting one so no doubt it was a real issue. just always hoped I wouldnt find one that wasnt in that batch.

been wanting a .357 for longer than I wanted a x39 bolt. I guess it's just time to scratch that itch. just need to commit to it before another impulse buy comes home with me.

Henry seems to be harder to find than the marlin. and since I thought the marlin was pricey the henry ways seems kind of steep.
actually since holding a few henrys i would drop the extra coin. they seem to really stand behind their products. I could live without the polished up receiver that i'll probably scratch on the first day out the box...
