I've told OGB to not worry about me. I'm not gonna run myself crazy fretting over every little ache and pain. No need for her to either.

When it's my time, I'll go happily. I've lived a good life.

Not that I want to go anytime soon, but I won't have any regrets when it's time.

I like to think the say way Todd. I only hope that I actually do when it's my time.

It's easy to say, that's true.

I've put all my demons to rest. No more regrets, nothing that I worry about. My kids are grown, and OGB is taken care of if something happens to me.

One thing I still need to do is talk to the VA and SS about Patty. A retirement option is called SBP, Survivor Benefit Plan. It's where I can designate X amount of dollars from my retirement to Patty and she will get that for HER lifetime, regardless of if I am alive or dead. I need to see how/if it would impact her Disability. We can't afford for her to loose THAT (insurance) benefit.

In my life, I've done a lot things that I am not proud of. But I have a good wife and a good life now, and I am satisfied. I sometimes still "Cop an attitude" when I shouldn't but I am trying hard to NOT be a Grumpy Old Man.

I don't mind being the grumpy old man. Just not at OGB. I try my best to keep my cool where she's concerned.

Her ex was a controlling manlipuative SOB that yelled and pushed her around all the time.

I definately try to NOT be that guy.
