Spending a few weeks with the better half in Louisiana. Her job doesn't currently permit her to take time off due to refinery operations, so I have been spending my days with honey-do lists. I said, "this is the most tiring vacation I've ever had." she replied, "this isn't a vacation. It's a preview for the rest of your life, Marine. Suck it up."
She's a meanie.

She did.
We went to lowes today after I spent most of the day clearing and organizing the sadly unused shop at our house. Tate, my 7-year-old soon-to-be stepson, insisted on getting his own tools. Luckily, lowes carries a tiny little prestocked toolbox. He was excited even after I took the utiliy blade out of it.
