Every single electronic communication of every kind is monitored and recorded by NSA. Cell phones, forums, private emails...all of it. Not every agency has this capability, but the Patriot Act and NDAA along with some other cybersecurity measures have pretty much done away with any privacy rights the 4th Amendment is supposed to protect.

I read something the other day about the Terebytes of info that the Feds store daily. Every email, every text message, Facebook post, etc. is copied and stored. Privacy is a pipe dream.

Every credit card purchase and bank transaction is also recorded. Most folks don't believe it, though. I have a close contact in DARPA. His specialty is electronic surveillance. He told me about the coming Total Information Awareness program years ago. By now, it is likely fully operational. I just wonder how they could possibly keep up with all that data. Talk about information overload. You'd need a million analysts to make sense of it.

Good thing that I don't care who's watching me.

I'm convinced that the government is always watching. And even if they're not, if you live like they are then you're safe.

I realize that makes me sound a little paranoid, but so be it.
