Roo - I agree with your theory. I already have the CG Scrapper, and I'm hoping my wife gets me an LE version for my birthday. The Swamp's discontinuing the Camp Tramp and Battlerat - which I still don't understand - should teach us all a lesson. Roo, do Scrappers really need safety in numbers? They are the top predator! Great idea having the cg and LE too though! I agree with PK about the BR's demise- [censored] fool idea stopping them! Since dogs like to travel in packs, I needed another to increase my pack's size until the bowie comes out. Plus, I had that 'want a new knife' fever.

I had always liked the camp tramp, in any of it's versions, but was too lazy to order it, with the everlasting wait for delivery. Now, my scrapper is practically the same size, with a much better blade shape (to me), and delivery is, well, in the same year.
I did get a satin battlerat, which I love. Had ordered a tan BR, but it never made delivery.

No, the CT is a little longer. I'm going by having seen the SY6 is the same blade size at the M6, and I have an M6 and a CT and it's a little longer. Here's a pic so you can see:
